Our Lady of Calvary Goals

Our Lady of Calvary School is a parochial school supported by the parishioners of Our Lady of Calvary Parish. We are part of the school system of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and therefore subject to its directives and guidelines. We are also accountable to our pastor, Father John Paul.

The staff of Our Lady of Calvary School has decided upon the following:

• To reinforce our community of faith by urging more fidelity to Mass attendance and reception of the sacraments.
• To develop an increasing awareness of the charism of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth so that their mission of evangelization be shared.
• To provide parenting classes for those parents who struggle with the challenge of raising their children.
• To enhance our Mathematics, Science and Social Studies classes with the Windows Videodisc programs.
• To strengthen our ILA Program by encouraging the teachers to become knowledgeable about assessment and the best use of portfolios.
